Terms and Conditions

Please Note: By returning the booking form, you have agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

‘Booker’ = The named person on the Booking Form
‘Performer’ = Magic Stu or Emergency Replacement

  1. Cancellation Policy

If the Booker cancels the booking, the following charges will apply:

  • More than 30 days before the performance date: No fee payable.
  • 15–30 days before the performance date: 50% of the full fee is payable.
  • 8–14 days before the performance date: 75% of the full fee is payable.
  • 1–7 days (including the performance date): 100% of the full fee is payable.
  • If the Performer (Magic Stu) is not informed of a cancellation and attends the event, the full agreed fee will be required/payable on the day.
  • All cancellation fees must be paid on the same day that the cancellation is made.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing to:

  • A cancellation is only considered valid once the Booker receives written confirmation and a cancellation code from The Performer.
  • If the required payment is not made on the day of the cancellation, an additional £50.00 late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance.
  1. Payment Terms
  • Fees due on the performance date are non-negotiable.
  • The Booker agrees to pay the full balance via Bank Transfer no later than 7 days before the performance date.
  • If ‘Cash on the Day’ has been approved and stated in the booking confirmation, payment must be made immediately upon the Performer’s arrival. Failure to do so will result in:
  • £50.00 late fee
  • The Performer reserves the right to delay the start of the show until cash payment made or a refusal to perform, with any deposits forfeited.
  1. Package Conditions
  • Package 1: Maximum of 100 children
  • Packages 2 & 3: Maximum of 50 children

      * If the expected number of children exceeds these limits on the day, the Performer reserves the right to alter the show resulting in a show time reduction of at least 15 minutes and the removal of balloon swords from the package (Package3)

  1. Venue Access & Requirements
  • The Booker acknowledges that the show requires 25 minutes to set up.
  • The Booker is responsible for ensuring venue access. Any delays caused by venue inaccessibility are not the responsibility of the Performer and may affect the start time.
  • The Booker must provide free on-site parking or free parking directly outside the venue entrance (not unloading-only areas).
  • The Booker must ensure they have obtained all necessary venue permissions for Magic Stu to perform.
  • If no venue information is supplied on the booking form and none is provided subsequently, the Booker’s address will be used as the venue.
  1. Outdoor Performances
  • Magic Stu’s performance is designed for indoor use only. Outdoor performances will only be considered if the weather and environment are suitable (no wind or rain).
  • Final decision rests solely with the Performer on the date of the performance. Enclosed marquees and large enclosed gazebos are acceptable.
  1. Rescheduling

Bookings cannot be rescheduled.
Any request to change the date within the 30-day period will be treated as a cancellation, as the original booking date has been reserved and represents a financial loss.

  1. Deposits / Booking Fees
  • If a deposit is requested by text or email, it must be paid within 12 hours of the request.
    Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation (a notification will be issued)
  • ALL DEPOSITS/BOOKING FEE’s ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

   8. Re-booking following a cancellation:

  • Magic Stu may offer an option to reinstate the cancelled booking, subject to an extra £50.00 reinstatement fee in addition to the Package cost. If Magic Stu agrees to re-instate your cancelled booking the immediate payment of the full balance (Package cost + £50.00 fee) must be paid immediately, a payment link will be sent when agreed.
